The first few weeks of the summer holidays has seen a surge in visitors to Langley Glamping! The weather has been perfect (although the grass looks a bit sad). All of our guests have left lovely comments in the visitors book, and we’ve had several repeat bookings already.

This week also saw a couple of ‘firsts’ for us – we have had our first guests that have enjoyed our ‘Sustainable transport’ offer – If you arrive on site either by bicycle, on foot or by public transport we will upgrade your stay from cabin only to fully furnished for no extra charge. Please get in touch if you would like more details. We also had our first Newly-Weds to stay!! We were thrilled to have them to enjoy their honeymoon with us and wish them all the best for their future. Our romantic setting by the lake is just perfect for a bit of peace and calm after the hectic weeks of pre-wedding organisation!

We have also totally completed our accessible cabin ‘Humbleton’ this week, the paving has gone in around the firepit area, so all areas are now accessible to wheelchairs. A great resource for anyone with mobility issues who still wants to enjoy the great outdoors.

And.. The bunk has been put up in the Wheatley’s cabin. So we can now officially accommodate a family of 5. We are extremely pleased with the innovative solutions that Geoff at Langley Furniture Works has come up with – his team have created an slick and efficient design that fits perfectly in the cabin. Blackcleugh will get it’s bunk installed whenever it’s next not occupied (might be mid-September I think!?).

And finally…. The other last bit of the project that is yet to be completed is our play area – this is well through the design phase and will be installed on site by 24th August. It will be nice to tick the last box!!

The remaining weekends up to the end of the month are all full, but we do have some availability during the week. Please see the availability calendars on the website or contact us at
