Our Green Commitment
We have attempted to make this entire project as ecologically friendly as we can. The company who built our cabins are located directly across the lake (you may hear them working on a quiet day!), and they have used only sustainable sources of wood in their construction. The insulation used in the cabins is of very high specification all round, and they are double glazed.
We have opted for a guaranteed green energy supplier (GreenEnergyUK) for our electric.
All our light bulbs are LED low energy
We use only Eco-friendly laundry and cleaning products in the maintenance of our cabins.
We recycle (and hope all our visitors do too) all rubbish that can be recycled.
Please respect the environment as much as we do and help us ensure the negative impact of this project on the local and wider environment is as low as possible.
EV Charger
As part of our Eco-commitments we are pleased to be able to offer an Electric Vehicle charging facility for our guests! The charging unit is managed by a company called ‘Charge While You Sleep’ and guests access it’s use via the ‘Fuuse’ App – all the instructions are on the sign provided next to the charging point. Just scan the QR code on the side of the charging unit, plug in and wake up to a fully charged vehicle!!
