Wheatley’s
Occupied
Wheatley’s cabin is positioned behind and slightly further up the bank from Blackcleugh and The Wonnies. The private decking area at the front of the cabin leads down to your own gravelled area to the side, allowing an unhindered view over the lake towards ‘Bristol Lodge’ – the one time home of the author Catherine Cookson. Here there is seating provided around a firepit/BBQ.
This cabin sleeps up to 4 adults, or up to 4 adults and one child under 12 years old. The fixed king sized bed has a proper comfortable mattress and there is a child’s drop down bunk over the bed. This sleeping area can be curtained off from the rest of the living space where there is a king sized double sofa bed.
The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, kettle, toaster, fridge with small freezer compartment, double ceramic hob and an electric oven with a grill. There is a drop leaf table with folding chairs for dining. The cabin is heated by means of an electric heater. We have also installed a 28” smart TV with DVD player.
The en-suite shower room has a flushing toilet, power shower, and sink.
